Welcome to Stourside Services Ltd (formerly CC Discount Heating Sudbury) a family business originally started by Graham Mitchell over 30 years ago.

Graham has now retired and handed the reins to me; his daughter Gay, I have worked alongside my dad from the beginning and I have big shoes to fill! He has taught me so much, he is my inspiration and role model, I want to continue his legacy and take the business forward for future generations. Family is hugely important to us, it is the heart and soul of Stourside Services Ltd, many of our customers have been using us since the beginning when CC Discount Heating Sudbury started trading out of a small shop in Gaol Lane, Sudbury, and here we are 30 years later, sadly no shop anymore, but our plumbing & heating services are still in demand, and we have a large customer following. My husband, Des & my Nephew, Joe the hardworking, dedicated, and knowledgeable installers and are both Gas Safe registered, they are responsible for all the site work and installations. We are also Oftec registered for oil installations that are compliant with the Oftec standards.
We decided on the name ‘Stourside Services Ltd‘ because the business is run from our home on the banks of the River Stour in Nayland and many of the towns and villages we serve are located along the same river as it meanders through from Sudbury to Henny, Lamarsh, Bures, Wormingford, Nayland, Horkesley, Boxted, Langham, Stratford St Mary, and Dedham on its way to Manningtree. We also cover, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester, and surrounding villages.
